Ms. Hajer Khalifa Aburkhis has been working at the Faculty of Education at Tripoli University since the academic year 2008-2009. She graduated from the same institution and obtained a bachelor's degree in English language in 2012. She was appointed as an assistant lecturer in the Department of English language in 2013, and continued her studies to pursue postgraduate studies in 2015. Careers

Ms.Aburkhis  has undertaken several notable tasks within the department, including:

Teaching various courses: She has taught a range of basic and advanced courses in English, contributing to the academic improvement of students.

Supervising graduation projects: She has supervised more than twenty graduation projects, providing the necessary support and guidance for students to successfully complete their research.

Scientific research: She has participated in the preparation and publication of numerous scientific research papers in the field of English language, including a study on the challenges faced by teachers when teaching English to medical students.

Participation in academic activities: She was part of the committee overseeing the conduct of exams at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tripoli, and contributed to the review of several research papers at Al-Hadara University for Applied and Human Sciences.

Research Interests

Ms. Hajer Aburkhis has conducted several research studies in the field of her specialization, one of which was "The main problems facing teachers when teaching English to medical students". Additionally, she has supervised over twenty graduation projects for both male and female students in the field of English language teaching.

External Activities

Ms. Hajer Aburkhis has worked as a reviewer for a number of research studies in the field of English language at Al-Hadara University for Applied Sciences and Humanities. In addition to her teaching position, she also had the opportunity to participate in teaching medical terminology to medical students at Tripoli University. Furthermore, she was part of the examination supervision committee at the Faculty of Human Medicine, Tripoli University.
