After more than 7 years of experience in English language training in Libya and the UK, Khalid Aldughri was appointed as an Assistant Lecturer in the English Department at the Faculty of Education, University of Tripoli. He teaches courses related to English language skills, including speaking, listening, writing, reading, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Additionally, he teaches subjects related to theoretical and applied linguistics, supervises students’ graduation projects, and oversees the practical teaching course, thereby contributing to enhancing their academic and professional competencies.

    • UNICEF: Led the "Learning Passport" project, co-led the "Life Skills" and "Teacher Training" programs, and contributed to planning the emergency response to the Derna floods.
    • School Management in the UK: Managed the renowned language school, The Language Gallery, where he achieved growth in student enrollment, enhanced academic excellence and staff development, increased student satisfaction, and balanced academic priorities with commercial objectives.
    • Teaching in the UK: Taught general and academic English, including IELTS preparation and university foundation courses, to students from beginner to advanced levels over three years.
    • Other Roles in the UK: Worked as a Primary Teaching Assistant at Ravenswood Primary School, Exam Invigilator at Newcastle College, ESOL Teacher at Action Language, and an online tutor on the Tutorful platform.
