The majority of Dr. Abuhajar professional career has been in cognitive behavioral therapy and personality disorders.
External Activities
The doctor's main interest is in raising awareness in the field of mental health for the community.
Clinical work providing psychological therapy, educational and psychological consultations.
Also, contributed to supervising the training of therapists at Al-Razi Hospital for Psychiatric and Neurological Diseases for the psychological treatment program for psychological interventions under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, the World Health Organization, and the National Center for Disease Control. The training includes interventions for all psychological disorders and all types of treatment.
Abuhajar worked with international organizations in the Community Development Center, and psychological and social support, providing psychological therapy, counseling, dealing with cases that need professional skills in the detention center and shelters, working mainly with cases of post-traumatic stress disorder, also working with affected children and providing psychoeducation for parenting.
