A working visit to the Faculty of Science at Zawia University
Today, Wednesday, December 27, 2023 AD, the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Faculties of Science in Libyan Universities, Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Tripoli, A. Dr. Ramadan Al-Jadi made a working visit to the College of Science at Zawia University in response to a kind invitation from Prof. Dr. Ismail Al-Akash, Dean of the College of Science at Zawia University, to meet with the College Council and review the latest developments in the joint doctoral program in the Western Region. The coordinator of the joint doctoral program in the Western Region, A. Dr. Khaled Abdel Hafeez Al-Marghani and coordinator of the physics major in the Western Region. Dr. Abdullah Muhammad Al-Kalash and Dr. Fathi Ali Al-Maqtouf, international relations coordinator for the programme.
The practical and legal steps to start the program and the role of science colleges in the Western Region in its success were reviewed. The mechanisms for benefiting from the cooperation agreements signed with sister countries and the importance of opening horizons of cooperation with some northern Mediterranean countries to support the programs of various science departments were also reviewed.
Everyone agreed to continue continuous communication and coordination to serve the joint doctoral program and to cooperate with everyone to serve the development plan and support scientific research. The deans of the colleges stressed the follow-up of the coordination and supervision committee and their support for the success of the program, and that the ministry will provide all support and capabilities to localize the doctoral program inside.
