In the presence of the Director of the Quality and Performance Evaluation Office in the college and a number of quality coordinators in the departments.

The workshop was inaugurated by the Director of the Office of Quality and Performance Evaluation in the college, with the introduction of the workshop coordinator, Prof. Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Qalali to the members of the committee participating in the workshop.

This workshop included three main themes as follows:

The first axis: the importance of quality in educational institutions

The second axis: - the discussion about quality

The third axis: - The first and second criteria for quality assurance

The workshop coordinator, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Salam Al-Qalali, dealt with the subject through the following points:

1- The general framework of quality:

Which included the feasibility of quality and its placement within the framework of the scientific methodology to achieve the objectives of education and the approved strategy and determine its priorities in the cognitive growth and creative growth of the learner.

2- The parameters and features of quality that appear in the learners, the recognition of their diversity, the internal and external educational environment, the employment of economic resources, the monitoring of social and political influences, the methodology of teaching and learning, the results of this methodology and the advantages of its outputs.

Despite the lack of agreement on a ready recipe for quality, success is the ally of educational systems in which the following factors have come together:

Wise management

A disciplined learning environment

Advanced curricula

Available mechanisms and resources

Motivate students to be creative

Access to sources of information

3- Quality Assurance Indicators:

It is not possible to determine the degree of quality absolutely, but there are indicators indicating it, including:

Excellence in education

Focusing on the qualitative aspects of education

- Ensuring the improvement of outputs

Coordination and interdependence between the elements of the educational process

Introducing the quality of education

4- Quality Support Policies:

To support quality, policies must be taken to achieve this, and among these policies

Make the student the center of attention

- Formulation of appropriate goals for education

- Developing teaching methods and methods

- Raising the level of performance and efficiency of faculty members

Availability of scientific material

Taking care of the educational administration

Availability of necessary funding

Achieving a national consensus on quality

Formulating a sound vision for quality

Focusing on the type and quality of outputs while preparing quantitative reports on education development

5- Quality dynamics

Quality is a dynamic, interactive process between all the elements involved in the educational process. It has a continuous, continuous and comprehensive nature. It changes with the change of events and develops with its development.

After the introductory intervention ended with general concepts about quality, the participants touched on the programmatic accreditation procedures, and the discussion was limited to the two criteria:

The first - planning and administrative organization

The second - the tutorial

The attendees stressed the need for the objectives, indicators, planning axes, components of the administrative organization, and the elements of the educational program to be clear, observable and measurable, and have the possibility of application to achieve benefit from them, and that the written procedures be realistic and touch practical conditions.

The attendees also noticed the need for the scientific departments of the college to prepare to receive an internal committee from the college to visit the departments during the next week (February 12-16, 2023) to conduct a programmatic evaluation exercise in preparation for the programmatic accreditation that will take place later this year, God willing.
