Dr. Jamal M. Endeer Associate Professor, Department of Statistics – Faculty of Science – University of Tripoli

A faculty member specialized in applied statistics and data analysis, with academic and research experience spanning more than three decades. He began his academic career as a teaching assistant in the Department of Statistics in 1994, and progressed through academic ranks to attain the position of Associate Professor. He has contributed to teaching and academic supervision at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and has published scientific research in peer-reviewed journals, in addition to his consultancy experience in statistical studies and social and economic surveys at both local and regional levels.

Professional CareerDr. Jamal Mohammed Endeer has an extensive professional career that combines academic, administrative, and consultancy roles. He has held several leadership positions at the University of Tripoli, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Health. His responsibilities have included overseeing academic affairs, coordinating graduate programs, and contributing to the development of academic structures, in addition to his role in developing and updating statistical databases and managing information systems within the education and health sectors. He has also served as a member and chair of several technical and national committees, contributing to the support of scientific research and the activation of laboratories and research centers. Furthermore, he has participated in the preparation and statistical analysis of studies with social, economic, and health dimensions at both local and regional levels.

Applied Statistics, Data Analysis, Regression Models, Factor Analysis, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), Sampling Design, Social and Economic Studies and Surveys, and the Application of Statistical Software in Scientific Research.

External Activities

Dr. Jamal Mohammed Endeer participates in a range

of scientific and professional activities outside the academic environment. These include serving as a part-time consultant to national and regional institutions, and contributing to the preparation and statistical analysis of social and economic studies and surveys. He is also involved in the review and evaluation of scientific research, and contributes to the assessment of academic studies as well as master’s and doctoral theses. In addition, he actively participates in scientific conferences and specialized workshops related to applied statistics and data analysis.
