abstract: The study aimed to identify nature of the relationship between digital transformation and improving institutional performance at the University of Tripoli, from the point of view of its faculty members. To achieve the study objectives, the researchers followed the descriptive analytical approach, focusing on the relationship between digital transformation and improving institutional performance at the University of Tripoli. We also shed light on the most important challenges facing digital transformation inhigher education institutions in general and at the University of Tripoli under study in particular. This study extracts a number of lessons that can be benefited from in this field. This study presents a set of results and recommendations that are hoped to be followed to raise the level of digital transformation and its relationship to improving performance at the University of Tripoli.
