Roles

Hana Meiteeq is one of the staff members of the English Language department of of the Faculty of Education. She has been working at the English language deparment since 23 of March 2015. She teaches several courses in her major and has several puplications in the field of her interest.

The tasks she has performed since joining the teaching staff of the Faculty of Education, Tripoli, can be summarized as follows:

• Member of the English Language Department's Quality-Assurance-Self-Study Committee
• Member of the Committee for Preparing the Postgraduate Program Proposal submitted by the English Language Department, Faculty of Education, Tripoli (2023)
• Coordinator of Research, Consulting and Training in the Department (2019 - 2024)..
• Coordinator of the English Language Department's Study and Examinations (2017 - 2019).
• Coordinator of Academic Supervision for the English Language Department (2015 - 2019)

Careers

• Full-time faculty member in the English Language Department, Faculty of Education, Tripoli (2015-Now).
• Part-time faculty member in the English Language Department, Faculty of Education, Tripoli (2012-2015)
• Member of the Faculty of Education Committee after the Corona Pandemic (2020).
• English Language Trainer (2012-present).
• English Language Teacher at Distinguished Education (1993-2015).

Research Interests

Maeteeq's research interests mostly focus on the field of teaching and learning the English language and all the challenges that face EFL education in libya. 

External Activities

One of the most important activities carried out by Ms. Hanaa Maeteeq is implementing training courses for English language teachers, the aim of which was to improve the linguistic and teaching skills of English language teachers in primary and secondary education. She also implemented several language courses and implemented courses at the Faculty of Education of University of Tripoli.
