Ibtisam Al-Hammali is one of the faculty members in the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Arts, Al-Sawani, University of Tripoli. Mrs. Ibtisam Al-Hammali has been working since the beginning of her appointment in 2012 as a teaching assistant in the Department of Sociology, and then after obtaining her master’s degree in 2016, she worked as an assistant lecturer and coordinator of studies and examinations in the department in 2017, and then she worked as a coordinator. Study and exams at the college 2020-2021, and as a lecturer since 2021. She also has many scientific publications in her field of specialization and has also supervised students’ graduation projects.

Careers

Mrs. Ibtisam Al-Himmali worked as a teaching assistant upon her graduation in the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Arts Al-Suwani, University of Tripoli, and then as an assistant lecturer and as a study and examinations coordinator in the department from 2017 - 2020, and then as a study and examinations coordinator at the Faculty of Arts Al-Suwani for two semesters (spring 2020 - fall 2021), and then as a lecturer. Since 1-7-2021.

Research Interests

She has many scientific contributions in all fields of sociology, especially the field of women's studies, socialization, culture, education, and technology. These participations came at the local level within Libya and internationally in Berlin (Germany), Tunisia and Iraq.

External Activities

She worked as a member of the Sociological Society of America 2018, providing research assistance such as scientific review and evaluation, and a social activist on social networking sites.
