Research activity of the College of Veterinary Medicine
Today, Tuesday morning, 10.5.2022, in the meeting hall of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tripoli, the first meeting was held between the research team composed of a group of faculty members from the Department of Poultry and Fish Diseases and the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology with a team of experts from various disciplines from Italy and the reference laboratory in the Italian city of Teramo using the zoom technology.
In this meeting, the possibility of opening horizons for scientific research cooperation was discussed.
The proposal submitted by members of the Libyan research team from the College of Veterinary Medicine entitled (The possibility of using sea cucumbers from the Libyan coasts as an indicator of the extent of pollution of these coasts) was also studied.
The idea of the research project has been adopted, provided that this meeting will be followed by several meetings to coordinate and start this important research project.
