Prof. Ali Juma Abdullah Abu Dean is a faculty member at the University of Tripoli, Department of Islamic Studies at the Faculty of Arts.Dr. Ali Juma Abu Ameed has been a lecturer at the University of Tripoli since 1995 and has many scientific publications in his field of specialization, in addition to many scientific research on contemporary scientific and intellectual issues.

Careers

The tasks that Dr. Ali Abu Ameed performed before his appointment at the university to the faculty family: 1- Before joining the University of Tripoli, he worked in the field of telecommunications at the General Postal Company from 1980 to 1995, where he was interested in continuing his university studies to obtain a bachelor’s degree in the field of English language and literature from the University of Tripoli in the academic year 1986-1987. 2- He worked as a collaborating professor in teaching the English language in general secondary schools and male and female teachers’ institutes, in addition to continuing his postgraduate studies at the University of Tripoli and obtaining a master’s degree in 1994 AD.

3- He began his work as a faculty member at the University of Tripoli in 1995.4- He was assigned to Hammam, Head of the Islamic Studies Department at the Suwani Branch of the College of Arts. 5- He supervised many graduation projects for bachelor’s degree students. 6- He was assigned the duties of Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Al-Sawani Branch, by decision of the University President. 7- He taught undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Tripoli and Al-Marqab University. 8- He taught English terminology to graduate students at the University of Tripoli and Al-Marqab University. 9- He supervised many master’s theses at the University of Tripoli.10- He was assigned the duties of a secret evaluator for several master’s theses before being referred to the discussion committee at the University of Tripoli and elsewhere. 11- He was assigned the duties of a secret evaluator for a doctoral thesis before it was referred to the discussion committee.12- He was assigned to discuss several master’s theses as an internal examiner at the University of Tripoli, and an external examiner at Gharyan Al-Asaba University. 13- Many scientific research papers were referred to him for secret evaluation for the promotion of faculty members from the University of Tripoli, the University of Zawia, and others. 14- He currently works as a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts, University of Tripoli.

External Activities

Tasks previously performed: - I worked in the field of telecommunications at the General Post Company from 1980 to 1995, then continued my university studies and obtained a bachelor's degree in the field of English language and literature from the University of Tripoli - the academic year 1986-1987. - I worked in the teaching profession as a cooperating professor in teaching English in public secondary schools and teachers' institutes, in addition to continuing my postgraduate studies and obtaining a master's degree from the University of Tripoli in 1994.

- A permanent faculty member by a decision of the President of the University of Tripoli No. (60) for the year 1996. - I was assigned the duties of the Head of the Department of Islamic Studies at the Sawani College Branch.- I was assigned the duties of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Al-Sawani Branch, by a decision of the President of the University.- I taught graduate students at the University of Tripoli and the University of Al-Marqab. - I taught English terminology in postgraduate studies at the universities of Tripoli and Al-Marqab University.

- Supervising many master's theses at the University of Tripoli.-Several master's theses were evaluated before referral to the defense committee.- I was assigned as a secret evaluator for a PhD thesis before being referred to the discussion committee. - I was assigned to discuss many master's theses as an internal examiner at the University of Tripoli and an external examiner at Gharyan Al-Asaba University.- Many scientific papers have been referred for confidential evaluation of the promotion of faculty members from the University of Tripoli and Zawiya University.   Scientific branching licenses: - I got a sabbatical leave when I was promoted to the rank of assistant professor in 2007.     - I obtained a sabbatical leave when I was promoted to the rank of associate professor in 2011.     - I got a sabbatical leave when I was promoted to the rank of professor in 2016.
