The Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tripoli, prides itself on its outputs in various disciplines and branches. Graduates of the Faculty of Fine Arts play an important role in meeting the needs of state institutions as well as the requirements of the labor market.
The Deanship of the Faculty of Fine Arts, with great support from the university administration, has been keen to provide students with essential knowledge in the discipline in order to keep pace with the rapid developments that contemporary societies are going through. It qualifies students scientifically and technically with the necessary tools that help them be able to follow up all developments in the field.
That is why the faculty was equipped with the media laboratory in 2014, which is considered the first of its kind due to its flexible teaching and practical approaches to discover students' talents and to highlight their creative ability. The faculty was also equipped with a visual laboratory in 2015 that helps students learn the techniques for image integration, montage and all scientific exercises in the specialization. The Faculty of Fine Arts had a big role in participating in competitions and festivals at home and abroad. It won many first places, and it performed distinguishably, in terms of both faculty members or students.

The mission of the Faculty of Arts and Media is to raise the level of artistic and informational appreciation and advancement in the civilization of society, and to contribute to expanding the knowledge and cultural structure of society. Further, the Faculty aims at consolidating its intellectual and cultural values, crystallizing its visions and highlighting its identity, inspired by its cultural heritage.
Objectives
The Faculty of Fine Arts aims to:
- Developing courses, describing and defining their vocabulary in line with the requirements of the times in order to improve the outputs of the Faculty.
- Accrediting electronic administration in terms of archiving, registration, study and examinations.
- Providing all modern academic requirements, equipment and needs for the educational process.
- Providing the appropriate climate for educational attainment in order to push creative capabilities and talents to the best performance.
- Communicating with relevant community institutions and getting them involved in the qualification and cognitive enhancement processes.
