Roles

Samira Ben Said is one of the staff members at the department of Fine Arts, College of Arts. She  has been working at the University of Tripoli as a lecturer since 2016-01-13 and has many scientific publications in her field of specialization. She obtained the degree of Assistant Professor in 2021 ADShe obtained a Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Arts, University of Tripoli in 1992 AD • She was appointed a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Arts in 1993 AD • She obtained a higher degree (Master's) from Tsinkya University - Ankara - Turkey in the field of art and design in 2006 AD She obtained a precise degree (PhD) from the University of Technology Mara - Shah Alam (UITM) in Malaysia in the field of arts and design - In 2014 AD, she was assigned to head the Design and Printing Department (Graphic Art) in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at the Faculty of Arts and Media. During this period, she was interested in and participated in several exhibitions and supervised projects in several events. From 2015 to 2018 AD

Careers

Mrs. Samira' was teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Arts in 1993, Department of Fine and Applied Arts, specializing in Design and Printing. Head of the Design and Printing Department from 1998-2000. She was also assigned to head the department after returning from serving abroad to the rank of lecturer from 2015 to 2018.

Research Interests

Mrs samira ben said  participated in several conferences in Ankara in 2004 and a conference in Malaysia - Shah Alam in 2013. The research studies are concerned with symbolic connotations in the printing plate industry and also with studying form and content in the formation and unity of design. She also has several research papers published in refereed scientific journals.

External Activities

Mrs. Samira's artworks were subjected to the intensity of the reduction effect in the composition and the dynamics between color and space. Participated in the charity exhibition for the displaced at Iskandar Cultural Center, Tripoli, Libya 2020. Insistence Exhibition to support the isolation center against covid19 various at Iskandar Cultural Center, Tripoli 2021. Participated in an exhibition at the celebration event of three centuries of Libyan-Sudanese relations, April 2021, Tripoli, Libya.
