Opening of the artist exhibition Dr. Matug Aborawi in the Spanish city of Granada

In the Spanish city of Granada: the opening of the exhibition of the artist d. Matouk Aburawy, a faculty member at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tripoli

Yesterday, the Central Services Exhibition Hall of Caja Rural Granada hosted the inauguration of the exhibition of the artist Matug Aborawi, made up of fifteen works done in oil on canvas where the artist "wanted to return to the landscapes of the childhood". The exhibition openinig presented by the writer and professor at the University of Granada, Manuel Montalvo.

The titles of the different works presented have recurring allusions to seasons or states such as Equinocio or Twilight, but also to other elements of nature as can be seen in The sea as wounded blue .

Matug Aborawi, (Libya, 1967) has a degree in Fine Arts from the university of Tripoli, Libya. Later he obtained a PhD in Plastic Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Granada as a member of the research group HUM 211: The medium as a dynamic factor in the practice and didactics of art.

He has extensive professional experience , which he currently develops in Granada, as well as an extensive history of exhibitions in different cities such as Tripoli (Libya), Caracas (Venezuela), Buenos Aires (Argentina) or the National Museum of Cultures. Mexico. 

The exhibition can be visited until February 11 at the Central Services Exhibition Hall of Caja Rural Granada, Avenida de Don Bosco, number 2, from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
