Abstract

Using ac susceptibility measurements, we have investigated the flux creep activation energy (U) in a (Y/Nd)Ba2Cu3O7- single crystalline superconductor as a function of magnetic field (B) and temperature. We demonstrate that U depends nonlinearly on B and that this dependence can be described quite well using a power low form U(B)∝B^(-β).
