Abstract
Abstract— This paper represents the application of dynamic mathematical module and feed-back controller design of a real Level system. The Level Process Station model 3503 is one of the process control units at Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department at University of Tripoli and developed by Lab-Volt Company which will be used as an experimental model. The system was improved by online digital data measurement using an Arduino Uno, and signal condition circuit, a comparison between the Lab-volt station controller and the developed Arduino controller system will be given. First the estimated linear model for single tank liquid level will be found from real experiment data of open loop step of the level system by using the MATLAB identification toolbox and numerical application of 63.2% method. The estimated model will be used for designing a feedback PID controller for the Liquid level in the tank using Direct synthesis tuning method. Then the designed controller given from the estimated model will be implemented in the real system using developed digital data measurement system. The time response for the step input of the Level system with the designed controller is presented and gives satisfactory results.
