ملخص

This research aims to measure the competitiveness indicators and estimating market share functions for exports Dates Maghreb Countries in the global markets. Where the estimated annual growth rate of the amount of exports dates was about 5.87%, showing the enjoyment of the total exports of dates, the Maghreb countries have a comparative advantage phenomenon as the value of the average comparative advantage phenomenon about 94.3 the average during period ( 1990 - 2010) as a dragon that total exports Dates Maghreb countries do not have the advantage of the ratio of price for most Countries Exporting Dates, but it turns out the results of estimating models of the market share of the total exports of dates AMU it possesses competitive against exports of Oman and Iran in the global markets dates, elasticity in the short run was (.25 -, .47 -), and elasticity of long-run was (- 0.54, 0.74 -) for both, respectively, while facing the exports of the Arab Maghreb Union stiff competition for the exports of dates, the UAE and Iraq, where elasticity of short-run and long run was greater than one for both. As can be seen that the exports of dates Tunisian possess competitive in the short run for exports Dates (Algeria, Morocco, Oman and Iran) where the values of the elasticity in the short run was less than one, while Tunisia faces stiff competition over the long run by (Morocco, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman) where the long-run elasticity greater than one. The Algerian exports of dates do not face competition in global markets in the short run and possesses the ability competitive of Dates exports relative to (Tunisia, Morocco, United Arab Emirates and Iraq), and also retain its competitiveness in the long run to the exports of the Tunisian and Iraqi dates. This and enjoying dates Moroccan exports competitive in the global markets for the exports of dates (Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran and Pakistan) where the short-run elasticity were all less than one correct, but facing Morocco's exports in the short run Stiff competition for the exports Dates (United Arab Emirates, Iraq and Oman).
