Abstract

/Several challenges are facing the manufacturing industry due to the higher competition between businesses and industries. Therefore, many businesses and industries are tried improving their performance to retain their businesses in the competitive world. This study aims to identify and resolve inefficiencies within the Steel Pip Manufacturing by utilizing discrete simulation modeling and to suggest the methods for improving productivity by focusing on the operation of workstations and workforces. It also to increase production, which fulfills customer's prerequisites and some products are left in the warehouse for the other customers as well. The simulation approach based on data obtained from a Steel Pip company was employed to improve operational performance. The results obtained may lead to increased knowledge scheduling problems on MS Pipes Manufacturing, which can also serve as a guide for helping to achieve a competitive of businesses and industries. Furthermore, the results presented that the new system could meet the demand for the proposed expansion, which may provide a framework for improving the productivity of the manufacturing industry. Company may use this model to demonstrate implementation to identify effective strategies to increase production and increase productivity on pipe manufacturing. The model may help to create conventional understanding processes, decisions, and resources, and can also assist in identifying and testing strategies that maximize their efficiency in production.
