Abstract
The study was conducted to investigate the vocabulary learning strategies used by undergraduate students, the level of anxiety among the undergraduate students, and investigate the relationship between the students' anxiety and vocabulary learning strategies. The study was conducted to gain the perspectives of the students. The participants of this study were 40 students. To collect the data from the participants, the questionnaire was used. The findings of the study revealed that that undergraduate students were medium VLS users, and the students have a high level of anxiety; moreover, there is a large positive significant correlation between the anxiety level of students and the overall VLS they use. In fact, the students develop strategies and ways of becoming more motivated and independent learners. Despite of that, the students still have the anxiety towards learning English, and this absolutely affects their use of VLS
