Abstract
The present study evaluated the correlation between renin-angiotensin system (RAS) and anxiety in adult male albino mice using elevated plus-maze (EPM). Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor captopril (CPL), angiotensin II (ANG II) receptor antagonist losartan (LRN), and anxiolytic drug diazepam (DZP) were used to examine the role of RAS in the central nervous system (CNS).
