Abstract

The purpose of this study is to shed light upon the importance and effectiveness of teaching practice training for students of faculties of education in general, and for students of English department in the faculty of education - Janzour in particular. The main focus of the study is on the shortage of time provided for this significant component of the educational process, and the obstacles which prevent the student teacher from getting effective training. In addition to his knowledge about this topic, the researcher conducted a questionnaire which contained six Yes / No questions, and a section where the participants in this study had the chance to express their opinions. The participants were 20 perspective graduate students in the department of English in the faculty of education in Janzour. The collected data were analyzed to explore the participants' different view points regarding the research six questions, and to offer suggestions to officials in order to improve teaching practice training.
