Abstract

Abstract: Introduction: Physiotherapy is one of the important medical specialties that work to provide medical services for pathological conditions to improve the quality of life and functional ability in all stages of life. Therefore, physiotherapy centers provide medical services to members of the community, which may be public or private services that must be managed with correct methods of work. Method: This is a qualitative cross-sectional study. 100 questionnaires were distributed to physiotherapy patients (50 in the public sector and 50 in the private sector). The second part is based on the scale of patient satisfaction with physiotherapy services. The questionnaire consists of 14 items. It was in English. The questions were explained to each patient. Patients were asked to rate their levels of satisfaction using a 5-point Likert scale (1 = poor, 2 = fair, 3 = good, 4 = very good, 5 = excellent) Results: The results of this study indicate that there are statistically significant differences between the satisfaction of patients who go to physical therapy centers in the public sector and the private sector. The study was concluded that the private sector is more effective than the public sector Conclusion: The results of this study concluded that patients who go to physiotherapy centers in the private sector feel slightly more satisfied than patients who go to physiotherapy hospitals in the public sector Key words: physiotherapy, patient satisfaction private and public hospital
