Abstract
Ceratothoa is one ofthe widespread generathat parasitizes a wideworld offish,including Oblada melanura(Saddledof seabream). Atotal of 56O. melanurafishwere collectedduringthe months of February and March of 2018; The results of this study showed the presence ofthe male parasite Ceratothoaitalicain the buccal cavity of the male O. melanura, and the infection rate was 1.8%; The relationship between the totallength and weight of the fish was negative allometric.
