Abstract
The Sirt Basin contains many subsurface geological structures, and we need some techniques to obtain results that can interpret these structures and their trends. The magnetic method that was used in this study gave results that can be explained by saying that the northern and southern parts have a greater influence compared to the west, and this is due to the influence of the north of the study area in Marada trough and the south due to the influence of Beda platform ,The zaggut oil field requires the use of other techniques to verify the results obtained by the magnetic method And obtain other magnetic data to continue studying the region on a larger scale.
