Abstract
Youth football players under 10 face significant risks of fatigue and overtraining due to their developing physiological systems. Existing monitoring systems lack pediatric-specific solutions. This prospective study developed and validated a real-time monitoring system integrating heart rate analysis and psychological stress indicators for under-10 football players. A prospective 8-week randomized controlled trial was conducted with 60 male players (aged 8-10) allocated to intervention (n=30) and control (n=30) groups. The intervention group used a smart monitoring system with real- time alerts, while the control group followed standard training. The intervention group demonstrated significantly faster recovery time (3.2 ± 0.8 vs. 4.1 ± 1.1 minutes, p<0.05), lower training heart rate (158.2 ± 3.4 vs. 166.8 ± 4.1 bpm, p<0.01), and stronger correlation between sleep and stress reduction (r = -0.72 vs. -0.45, p<0.001). The system effectively reduces fatigue and improves recovery in young athletes, providing a validated tool for youth sports academies.
