The study aimed to identify the level of attitudes toward integrating AI-powered smart learning platforms into the educational process among students of the Home Economics Department, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tripoli, from the perspective of faculty members. It also sought to identify the major obstacles and requirements associated with such integration and to examine differences in attitudes according to selected personal and academic variables. The study employed the descriptive survey method, with correlational and comparative approaches used in data analysis. The study population consisted of 15 faculty members and 160 students in the Home Economics Department, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tripoli, during the 2026 academic year. A simple random sample of 113 students was selected, while a census approach was used for all faculty members. The study utilized two questionnaires, one administered to faculty members and the other to students, to measure attitudes toward the integration of smart learning platforms, as well as the obstacles and requirements associated with their integration. The results revealed a high overall level of attitudes toward integrating smart learning platforms among both faculty members and students. The affective component ranked first, followed by the cognitive component and then the behavioral component. The level of obstacles was also high, with the most prominent obstacles being inadequate technological infrastructure and Internet speed, insufficient specialized training, high subscription costs, and concerns related to privacy and academic integrity. The requirements for integration were also rated at a high level, particularly continuous training, strengthening digital infrastructure, providing platform subscriptions, and establishing clear regulatory and ethical frameworks. The results showed no statistically significant differences between faculty members and students in the overall attitudes and their components. However, regression analysis revealed a negative effect of integration obstacles on attitudes toward smart learning platforms. The study recommended developing technological infrastructure, providing practical training programs, establishing policies for governance and academic integrity, and providing institutional subscriptions to smart educational platforms.
