Abstract

Thus, the problem of this chapter can be indicated by the following questions: Is Libya's Crisis a national, regional, or international crisis? What are the most relevant theoretical frameworks that describe, explain, and predict Libya's Crisis? Moreover, what are the scenarios for Libya's Crisis? This study assumes that the recent Libya Crisis reflects different internal and external surrounding milieu; thus, it requires cumulative theoretical frameworks that take into consideration the uniqueness of the problem on the one hand and the relevant theoretical frameworks in the social sciences, e.g., the SWOT analysis approach, on the other hand. Accordingly, this chapter is divided into the following sections: Libya's Crisis, theoretical approaches to understanding Libya's Crisis, scenarios of Libya's Crisis, and a conclusion. Keywords: Keywords: Libyan Crisis, SWOT Approach, Theoretical Framework, Internal Factors, and External Variables.
