Abstract
Statement of the Problem: there are a lot of cases that hesitate to the department of physical therapy of different ages due to accidents of burns of multiple causes and varying degrees for some burns in the second and third degree arm that were use of primary splints for people with burns and maintain them to access treatment with the least possible distortions due to burns. Arm after skin transplantation, through which he reached positive results. This led the researchers to carry out this study in order to achieve more effective and less effort. The purpose of this study: to identify the following: Effectiveness of gypsum on burn patients for those who underwent skin transplantation in the upper limb arm. Methodology: the researchers selected some cases of burns in the Department of Physical Therapy at the Hospital of Burns and Plastic Surgery Tripoli, who were implanted skin in the arm in a deliberate way. The number of burns (9) was selected, they were aged (3-9) years according to intentional method. Findings: the existence of statistical differences between the pre and post measurement of the research sample in the kinetic range of arm angle divergence. The rate of improvement is 33% which is very high. There are statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurement of the research sample of the hand grip strength in the first stage which is a high percentage. There are statistically significant differences in the second and third phases of the pre and post measurement with an improvement rate of up to (11%, 18%) in favor of telemetry. There are statistically significant differences for the second and third phases and in favor of the telemetry with an improvement rate that reached between (48%, 56%) of the grip strength. There are statistically significant differences, which is the lowest percentage in the last stage four by an improvement (6%) for the divergence of the angle of the elbow. Recommendations: conduct scientific research to rehabilitate burns for different ages and. encouraging therapists to learn how to use full gypsum and deal with these injuries in all physiotherapy centers.
