Abstract

A natural circulation solar air heater with a storage suitable for domestic Space heating is examined. The performance of the air heater (collector- storage) system is investigated for winter season under different modes of operating conditions. Experimental measurements of temperatures, air flowrate, stored-energy and efficiency are reported. The results obtained give a good idea about the parameters which should be considered in the design of such systems used in space heating and other purposes.
