ملخص

The top grid of silicon solar cell is optimized by adopt in two type of silicon solar cells single crystalline Si solar cells, and multicrystalline Si-solar cells, with respect to the first type , the conventional p-n solar cell and advanced textures by invested pyramid one, were studied and optimum values of grid for both advanced and conventional are calculated in the multicrystalline cell, the conventional and advanced cell textured by honeycomb are studied and the optimum value of grid dimensions are also calculated. In the second part of this work the effect of light concentration on the efficiency and optimized dimensions of grid of both types (single-cSi and multi-cSi cells) in the range of 1 to 100 sun are studied. It was found that efficiency of the two types of cells are increase by increasing the light concentration up to a certain level after which the efficiency decrease rapidly. There is an optimal grid design for a cell at each level of concentration. In the last part of this work the novel top grid was designed by putting busbar on the edges of the cell and drilling a pin- hole in the centre of the cell. It was found that these two channels for the H-type grid. However, we shell need more tests in the practical side for verification cod model results.
