Abstract

This study is focused on the Hawaz Formation which represents the main reservoir producing in the O-NC115 field which located in the south eastern of concession NC115,about (1,330 km) southwest of Tripoli, the reservoir has gross thickness that more than 600 feet. The aim of this study to determine Petrophysical analysis of six wells, using well log data such as (Gamma Ray Log, Resistivity Log, Neutron Log and Density Log). In addition, using new software Techlog software 2015 and Petrel software 2017. The petrophysical results show reservoir has good quality reservoir where the total porosity in this study is about 12.25 %, the net pay thickness is about 129.5 feet and, water saturation is up to 20.3 %. The applications that were used are Techlog software for analyzing the log data, whereas the Petrel software for mapping and structure cross-section. The initial oil in place calculated using the volumetric method, which is equal to 619,771,026 MMSTB, whereas the recoverable reserve is 137,589,167.772 MMSTB.
