Abstract
This research aims to investigate the use of classroom activities in teaching English as a foreign language for Libyan students in secondary schools. It is also aims to attract the teachers` attention towards the importance of using adequate teaching activities which may facilitate teaching and learning English in our schools. This research is concerned with some practical activities that can be used in teaching English as a foreign language by suggesting some teaching techniques regarding classroom activities
