Abstract

The crystal from Arundina graminifolia is generated by solution growth method. The crystal parameters are studied by XRD method and morphological parameters are studied by SEM analysis. The parameters are (a) as 8.5488 Å, (b) as 13.4267 Å, (c) as 11.3697 Å, (β) as 103.5° with the space group P21/n and chemical formula of crystals from Arundina graminifoliais (C16H16O3). The crystals are formed without any defects and dislocation. This crystal is a monoclinic crystal system. The alpha amylase based anti-diabetic activity is properly measured using IC 50 values for micro and milled nano samples.
