Abstract
This study aimed to identify the technological tools in the laboratory of the English department as well as; to identify the challenges instructors faced with implementing technology for teaching practical subjects at the laboratory. This research seeks to investigate if the laboratory in the Department of English Langyage in the Faculty of Education-Janzour had suitable tools for teaching practical subjects. In this study the researchers used quantitative and qualitative approaches which were observation and interview, moreover the researchers did a pilot study for both methods. It was designed for collecting data from 3 teachers. Each teacher teaches a different practical subject. The researchers believe that the challenges in teaching using practical subjects can be improved in future. The results of the research indicate that the instructors suffer from the lack of using technological tools. finally, the conclusion drawn from this study can benefit both instructors and students.
