Abstract
Annually, students who graduated from secondary school are expected to enroll into a certain college of their choice and continue until they get their certification. However, various circumstances may occur and force them to stop studying. The purpose of this research is to highlight the key aspects that make undergraduate dropout from the English department. The approach used in this research was quantitative as it was used to investigate the undergraduates' opinions about the dropout aspects in the Faculty of Education in Janzour through an online survey that included 23 questions. The questionnaire was answered by 60 participants chosen randomly. Furthermore, the data gathered from the online survey was examined in form of pie charts by using Microsoft Word and the results were compared with other previous studies. The majority of results of the questionnaire showed a clear agreement that there are certain reasons that lead students to dropout. The findings of this research will help indicate the specific reasons that lead English learners to either change their major or just withdraw and try to find a better solution to this severe issue.
