Abstract

This project is a work for a subject called "Graduation Project" which can qualify us for graduation. This research is considered a very difficult task because it requires great efforts, good organization, correct language use and the most important thing is enough time. Unfortunately we did not have enough time, this semester was very exceptional, but we thank Allah, we were able to finish writing it after a huge effort. Our research talks about seating arrangements in the classroom and how the layout of the classroom can have an impact on students and on their interactions and performances inside the classroom. The participants of this study were ten students from Al-Yarmouk primary school .We used quantitative and qualitative approaches in our research for data collection. The types of the instruments that were used for data collection were a questionnaire and an observation which were prepared by us "the researchers" according to the research questions. The quantitative data was analyzed by Microsoft Word and presented on "Pie Charts. “ We concluded that most of the students involved in the study prefer to change their routine in the way of seating in order to understand and focus on 2   the lesson. Also, we observed that most of the students prefer to sit at the beginning of the class to focus on the lesson clearly and interact with the teacher. This means that the students who sit at the back cannot focus on the lesson and understand it in a good way and that is why the layout of the classroom should change
