ملخص
المستخلص: إن الانتشار الواسع لمفهوم المسؤولية الاجتماعية بين المؤسسات التعليمة وخاصة مؤسسات التعليم العالي ارتبطت بشكل وثيق بهذا المفهوم بكل مكوناتها ويرجع السبب في ذلك لأن مؤسسات التعليم بشكل عام ومؤسسات التعليم العالي بشكل خاص تتولى تدريب الطلبة وإجراء البحوث العلمية للمساهمة في حل بعض مشاكل المجتمع، فالجامعات تعمل على نشر الوعي بين الطلبة وتشجعهم لتحمل مسؤولياتهم الاجتماعية نحو مجتمعهم. هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور الجامعات الخاصة المعتمدة بمدينة طرابلس في خدمة المجتمع، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم استعراض الأدب الإداري المتعلق بموضوع الدراسة، هذا وقد أفرد جزء من الدراسة لعرض الدراسات السابقة التي تناولت الموضوع. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لغرض تحليل البيانات، فقد صممت استبانة لهذا الغرض ووزعت على عينة عشوائية بسيطة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعات قيد الدراسة، هذا وقد تم تحليل البيانات باستخدام برنامج SPSS وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها. وجود وعي من قبل أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعات قيد الدراسة بخدمة المجتمع والبيئة، وأن لديهم مساهمات مجتمعية متنوعة في خدمة مجتمعهم وقد وصلت النسبة الاجمالية لمشاركات أعضاء هيئة التدريس في خدمات مجتمعة حوالي 88% وقام ما نسبته الإجمالية 63% بإجراء بحوث تخص المجتمع والبيئة منها بشكل منفرد والبعض منها بشكل جماعي، وبناءً على النتائج التي تم التوصل إليها تمت صياغة عدد من التوصيات أهمها. التأكيد على أولوية تعيين أعضاء هيئة التدريس الذين لهم مساهمات مجتمعية سواء بتقديم الخدمات المتنوعة أو إجراء البحوث التي تسهم في حل مشاكل المجتمع والبيئة، ورفع نسبة الإنفاق على البحث العلمي في مجال خدمة المجتمع والبيئة، وتكثيف استطلاع آراء المجتمع حول الخدمات المجتمعية التي تقدمها الجامعات قيد الدراسة. Abstract: The out spread of the concept of social despicability among the educational institutes especially the higher education, is strongly connected to this concept, because these institutes train their students to acquire research skills that contribute to resolve societies' problems. Universities work to spread awareness among students and encourages them to assume their social responsibilities towards their community. The study aims to identify the role of accredited private universities in Tripoli, Libya, in serving this purpose of in the society. To achieve this goal, the researcher has widely reviewed related literature. Part of the study was devoted to review previous studies related to universities' social responsibility. Descriptive and quantitative method were used to analyze the data. A questionnaire was designed for this purpose and distributed to a random sample of faculty members at the targeted universities. Data was analyzed by SPSS software. The following sections provides a highlight of the main finding and recommendations. Findings: There is a great awareness of community and environmental service among the faculty members of the universities under study. From the data, it was found that 88% of faculty members participated in social services in their community, and about 63% have conducted research related to society and the environment, some of research were conducted individually and some were conducted collectively. Recommendations: Strong emphasis must be given to the recruitment of faculty members who have community contributions. An increase in total spending on scientific research in the field of community and environmental services must be taken into consideration. Intensive researches should be carried out to find out the community’s opinions and views about the community services provided by the universities.
