The course deals with the difference
between states of the atmospheric system (weather and climate), and their
spatial and temporal scales. With the link between climatology and climate
changes and their impact on human activities, with identification of how
climate maps are drawn, analyzed, readouts and ways to benefit from them using
modern technologies, and the study of quantitative methods in applied climate
research.
