Overview

Management is described as the art of leading and directing people with the aim of getting work done and achieving the desired results. The management is also responsible for achieving goals and stabilizing the events of development and progress, and is the driving element and directing all work facilities in the institution through planning, organization, guidance and control; and under the definition of the World Health Organization (WHO), rehabilitation is a process of medical and functional rehabilitation of people with disabilities, and physical therapy ), is a therapeutic profession related to human functional, movement and increase motor ability to the maximum extent possible, and rehabilitation and physiotherapy centers are based on strong scientific foundations comes organization and management at the forefront and to reach a comprehensive quality of service delivery, this requires the student to understand well the application of the principles of management and the course Familiarity with the foundations and principles of management of rehabilitation centers and physiotherapy in addition to knowing the variation in the concept of rehabilitation center And physiotherapy in different parties dealing with it, as well as the classification of rehabilitation centers and physiotherapy, as well as highlighting the environment of internal and external rehabilitation centers, and the administration also contributes to giving the student an understanding of how to build the organizational structure and how to distribute responsibilities and know the functions of the manager and mechanisms to follow up the regularity of work in the center in a scientific form, which includes the flow of work and the provision of the best health services

Intended learning outcomes

The student is the material and moral basis of the educational process, as he is the partner and the main axis and the only element as an input in university education and a participant within the elements and processes that take place in universities, so the academic achievement, formation and preparation of the student through the targeted inputs of specialists in the Department of Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy, which will enhance the concept of the organization and management of rehabilitation centers and physiotherapy, through the outputs that will gain the student basic knowledge of the concept of management and Its basic elements in addition to his knowledge of management levels and administrative skills, building the organizational structure of rehabilitation and treatment centers, distributing responsibilities between work units, student knowledge of the concept and classification of rehabilitation centers, how to equip the administrative work environment, professional ethics and crisis management.

Teaching and learning methods

The course will provide the student with a combination of these methods through cooperation between students and using electronic means, and also through brainstorming between students and using some learning situations, in addition to theoretical explanations, dialogue, and discussions during lectures, as well as through writing scientific research and work papers specialized in each of the vocabularies of the organization and management of rehabilitation and physiotherapy centers and also through evaluation by oral and written exams.
