Overview

This course seeks to introduce the student to the foundations adopted in the division of plants, as well as to know the ancient and modern division of the plant kingdom, in addition to knowing the rules for writing the scientific names of plants and how to describe the botanical leaves, flowers and fruits

Intended learning outcomes

-The student should discuss the importance of plant zoning and its relationship to other sciences

-That the student enumerate the classification scholars and the approved bases for plant division

-The student should explain how to identify a plant and write down the information

-The student should show the names of the plant species and be proficient in writing them

-The student discusses the shape of fruits, flowers and leaves
