Overview

Therapeutic exercise is one of the basic natural methods in the field of integrated therapy. Sports therapy is also of particular importance in the field of rehabilitation for sports injuries, especially in its final stages when implementing treatment in preparation for preparing the injured player to practice specialized activities, and his return to the stadiums after restoring the basic functions of the injured player's body, where the process of treatment and motor rehabilitation depends on physical exercises of various kinds, and one of the most important uses of motor therapy, which is the basis of physical therapy, In addition, therapeutic exercises are based on physiological, anatomical and mechanical principles depending on the diagnosis of the condition and physical testing for each individual separately, and they include preliminary exercises of strength, endurance, speed, balance, respiratory periodic endurance and neurosensory training.

Intended learning outcomes

Provide the student with the concept of therapeutic exercise and its importance and important considerations when developing therapeutic exercises and how to use therapeutic exercises for some sports injuries. And inform the student of the foundations of developing therapeutic exercises and how to apply them and the content of each stage of the different stages of rehabilitation. And provide him with knowledge and concepts related to therapeutic exercises for some malformations and the skill of dealing with sick or injured cases in addition to developing the student's awareness of the importance of putting therapeutic exercises correctly in rehabilitation programs to maintain the safety of patients.
