Overview

By studying this course, the student will become familiar with Boyle-Charles and Gay-Lussac's law, as well as the unified law for gases and Dalton's law of molecular theory, and know ways to express the concentration of solutions and conversion relationships in them.

Intended learning outcomes

1-The student should mention the ideal and real gas laws2- To define chemical equilibrium, its types, and mathematical applications on equilibrium3- To deduce chemical calculations (molecular weight _ mole number _ ratio _ elementary formula and molecular formula _ weight of equations)4- To summarize the difference between the types of solutions5- To explain ways of expressing the concentration of solutions and the conversion relationships between them

Teaching and learning methods

1- Giving theoretical lectures.2- The use of explanatory teaching aids.3- Power Point.4- Electronic files and paper books

Methods of assessments

1- A written test (for example, from the multiple choice style {closed book} or a written test from the type of closed questionsOpen book or combination after 5 lectures 20%2- Oral exam after 10 lectures 20%3 - Continuous formative assessment (periodic) 60%
