The objective of this course is for
students to acquire the most important facts, concepts, and skills related to
the most important methods, means, strategies, and methods of teaching science
in the basic and secondary education stages. This course is also concerned with
identifying the nature and philosophy of science - identifying the general and
specific objectives in teaching science, especially chemistry - and identifying
the basic teaching competencies of a chemistry teacher - acquiring the skill of
planning daily lessons in chemistry - and identifying the most important
communication and interaction skills, class management and laboratories
chemical.
