The objective of this course is to study
the chemistry of heterocyclic compounds, especially the pentagonal and
hexagonal rings, as well as to study the chemistry of conjugated aromatic rings
such as naphthalene, anthracene, and phenanthrene, as well as the chemistry of
double ketones.
Intended learning outcomes
After studying the course, the student will
be able to name the five and hexagonal heterocyclic such as pyrrole, furan,
thiophene, pyridine, and others. He will also be able to identify conjugated
aromatic rings and the chemistry of double ketones.
Teaching and learning methods
Theoretical lectures using the blackboard and data show - exercises and solving problems.
Methods of assessments
The first midterm exam - the second midterm exam - the final exam
