The
student will be trained to prepare some aromatic organic compounds, such as
para nitroaniline and aspirin, and to distinguish between ortho, para and
meta-nitroaniline, with determining the infrared absorption areas for these
compounds.

and purifying aromatic organic compounds using several chemical methods
