This course offers an integrated approach to the theoretical and descriptive study of English syntax. This course gives the students detailed explanations, covering English grammar rules in depth. It gives him/her lots of practice and clear explanations for the types of sentences, subject verb agreement and clauses.
Intended learning outcomes
1. Have a higher level of grammar knowledge. 2. Practice grammatical activities to stretch their language skills. 3. Work out the grammar rules, reactivating the grammar they know. 4. Know how to teach grammar.
Teaching and learning methods
The lecturer uses a variety of teaching methods. For example, the teacher gives classroom discussions, the use of collaborative learning by working in groups. The lecturer tries to make the class learner-centred by the use of different activities and tasks.
