Overview

This course is designed to achieve the general objectives in the form of outputs that the student is supposed to acquire when successfully completing the course, as follows:Study the foundations of rock stratigraphy.Study the analysis of basins from a stratified perspective.· Evaluate surface and subsurface information.Study and evaluate local and international examples

Intended learning outcomes

By passing this course, the student is supposed to be familiar with the following practical and professional skills: 1. Acquire the skills of using stratigraphy in studying and analyzing sedimentary basins. 2. Deduce the interdependence between rock layers (surface and subsurface) 3. Analyze field data and represent them in graphic sectors and compare them. and interprets them. 4. Carries out field studies, supervises them and/or follows them up, and analyzes their information.
