Overview

Knowing the essential role that minerals and industrial rocks play in our practical life in various fields. Enabling the student to be able to economically classify industrial rocks according to their nature their origin, presence and characteristics as well as their industrial applications, quantities and prices. The ability to distinguish between metallic and non-metallic industrial minerals and rocks. Studying examples of such rocks and minerals in Libya.

Intended learning outcomes

  • Outcomes of the course:

          With regard to the acquisition of skills, the student concludes the importance of these minerals and rocks, their presence and their impact on the Libyan economy
        • -The student will be introduced to industrial minerals and rocks and the most important uses in practical life.
        • - The student describes the industrial minerals and rocks on their source, origin, natural characteristics and extent to be used as economic minerals and rocks.
        • - The student recognizes the difference between metallic and non-metallic industrial minerals and rocks and their presence in Libya.
