Overview

The course aims to familiarize the student with the basic concepts in the field of educational evaluation, its importance, characteristics, types, how to build a table of specifications, familiarity with the concepts and scientific foundations of tests, their types, methods of preparation, defects and advantages, and their use in educational measurement and evaluation.

Intended learning outcomes

- The student should explain the relationship between measurement, evaluation and educational evaluation in a scientific manner.- The student should determine the appropriate scale according to the goal to be measured with complete accuracy.- The student should clarify the relationship of achievement tests to educational objectives correctly.- The student should explain the steps of building the specifications table correctly.- The student should distinguish between self-assessment tools (questionnaires - observation tools - interview).- The student should design a model for achievement tests for a course in his field of specialization in accordance with the standards of good testing.- The student should use the conditions for formulating behavioral goals in formulating the behavioral goal.
