Overview

Course description:

The course aims to introduce students to the concepts and terminology of the rulings of transactions decision, and correct Sharia dealing resulting from knowledge and familiarity with the provisions of Sharia and the jurisprudence of dealing. And to clarify the opinions of scholars about some contemporary transactions, and to correct some of the prevailing transactions in the market according to what is governed by Sharia.

Intended learning outcomes

Educational outcomes:

 The student should define the sale contract in the general sense and the specific meaning.

 That the student explain the definition of selling in the general sense and the specific meaning.

 The student should mention the elements of the sales contract.

 That the student enumerate what is required for each of the pillars of the sale contract.

 The student should explain some of the reasons that invalidate the contract, such as usury.

 That the student distinguishes the effects of the valid contract and the corrupt contract.

 That the student differentiate between valid sales and corrupt sales.

 That the student discuss some contemporary transactions and the extent to which they agree with the provisions of the Sharia.
